Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end/year-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead compliance initiatives for GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Develop and maintain robust financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Collaborate with auditors during external/internal reviews
- Mentor junior staff and implement process improvements
- Support strategic financial decision-making for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP compliance, tax regulations, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel
- Proven track record in process optimization and team leadership
