Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings at the federal and state levels.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls and policies are followed.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Manage general ledger reconciliation and bank statement analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification or CPA candidacy is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
