Responsibilities
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with precision
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and general ledger maintenance
- Lead internal audits and SOX compliance initiatives
- Develop financial models and forecasting tools for strategic planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and cost optimization
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in tech/finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder presentations
