Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable processing and assist with accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for external audits and tax filings.
- Implement and improve internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to assist senior management in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
