Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist in the development of the annual budget.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel skills required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
