Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and file tax returns while maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Lead process improvement initiatives using accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and implement internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting ERP systems
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder presentations
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
