Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, including bank statements and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in external audits and tax preparations as needed.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting support to management.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
