Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex tax reporting requirements and support audits
- Develop financial models and forecasts to guide strategic decisions
- Maintain internal controls and improve accounting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and oversee accounts payable/receivable operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
