Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of all transactions
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews and tax preparation
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Lead month-end closing processes and ensure accurate reporting deadlines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
