Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliation and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings and returns.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to safeguard company assets.
- Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
