Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and improve cash flow.
- Support the annual audit process by providing requested documentation and working closely with external auditors.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and resolution of invoices.
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) and financial software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
