Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support external audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights to management on financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and GAAP standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
