Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual federal and state tax returns, working closely with external auditors.
- Conduct regular internal audits and variance analyses to ensure financial integrity.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are posted correctly.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and monitor the annual budget and cash flow forecasts.
- Maintain up-to-date financial systems and improve internal controls where necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- CPA certification is strongly preferred; CMA is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong knowledge of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
