Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports
- Lead internal audits and compliance initiatives for SaaS and startup clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
- Implement process improvements using accounting software and automation tools
- Mentor junior accountants and ensure team adherence to financial controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and deadlines
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
