Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and budget forecasts.
- Assist in external audits and internal control compliance reviews.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely vendor and customer payments.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate large datasets and create financial models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and MS Office Suite (Excel advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and organizational skills.
