Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and improve internal controls.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations for cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
