Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations to ensure timely payments and accurate revenue recognition.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior leadership.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong working knowledge of US tax laws, internal controls, and financial auditing principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
