We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a fully remote position based in the Wichita, KS area. Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and perform variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements, including tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
