Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and review complex financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audits
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and internal controls
- Lead special projects including tax compliance and regulatory reporting
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Remote work experience with strong time management abilities
