Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with detailed variance analysis
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Lead internal controls implementation and SOX compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and strategic financial planning
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and general ledger maintenance
- Conduct audits for operational efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Develop financial models to support business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Proven experience managing remote teams and virtual collaboration
