Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL, AP/AR, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and KPI dashboards
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and GAAP standards
- Lead process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and audits
- Maintain internal controls documentation and testing
- Support tax preparation and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA certification required
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience (remote preferred)
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and audits
- Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Experience in fintech or SaaS industry highly valued
