Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for Seattle-area tech clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with Seattle-based finance teams on budget forecasting
- Ensure compliance with Washington state tax regulations
- Implement process improvements for remote accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accountants on Seattle market practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proven remote work proficiency with digital tools
- Deep knowledge of Washington state tax laws
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience with SaaS company accounting cycles
