Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Ensure tax compliance by preparing necessary tax returns and maintaining accurate tax records.
- Streamline financial processes and implement internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting.
