Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate bookkeeping through reconciliation.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and audit schedules.
- Develop and monitor budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and cost-saving recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience working effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
