Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and improve workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure internal controls and audit readiness across all financial processes
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment
- Experience in financial services or fintech industry highly desirable
