Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax filings for both remote and on-site employees.
- Assist with external audits and the implementation of robust internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships effectively.
- Utilize advanced accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Prepare budget forecasts and provide financial insights to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
