Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive individual to assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and maintaining accurate financial records. If you are eager to learn and excel in a fast-paced corporate setting, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process, including journal entries and accruals.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and government compliance filings.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic financial records.
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and resolve them efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
