Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 diverse client portfolios
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliation accuracy
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Implement internal controls for remote accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and SOX requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance with 5+ years of public/private accounting experience
- CPA license or active pursuit required
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and PivotTables
- Proven experience with remote accounting workflows
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
