Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned client portfolios including month-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with tax specialists for quarterly and annual filings
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and ERP systems
- Provide financial insights and forecasting support to client stakeholders
- Lead cross-departmental projects for system implementations or process optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (advanced formulas), and ERP systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a virtual environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with forensic accounting or internal controls preferred
