Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage general ledger operations, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for multiple entities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during financial statement reviews
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Mentor junior accounting staff through virtual training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Strong GAAP and SOX compliance knowledge
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance reporting
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
