Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and KPI tracking
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly sales tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for financial workflows
- Lead client onboarding for new accounting systems and training initiatives
- Generate custom financial reports for strategic business decision support
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel/Google Sheets
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Deep understanding of California sales tax (BOE) and payroll regulations
- Proven experience with bank feeds, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy track record
- Strong client management and presentation skills for financial reviews
