Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with CFOs and external auditors during financial reviews
- Oversee month-end closing processes and journal entries
- Develop customized financial reports to drive client decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with multi-entity accounting and payroll systems (ADP/Paychek)
- Strong attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Experience with ERP systems (Sage, NetSuite) a plus
