Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with high accuracy.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets and provide variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment (Direct Hire).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a strong plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
