Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Prepare and file state and local tax reports and maintain compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are effective and accurate.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be available for immediate start.
