Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead financial audits and implement internal control improvements
- Develop financial models for forecasting and budgeting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and cash flow analysis
- Ensure regulatory compliance with SEC and state financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in financial services
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (including VLOOKUP/PivotTables)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Remote work experience and self-discipline
