Key Responsibilities:
As an Accountant, you will manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including financial reporting, reconciliation, and auditing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and internal controls.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecast future financial performance.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to streamline financial operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
