We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing finance department. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in Philadelphia, PA, while supporting our national operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity.
