Responsibilities
- Manage month-end/year-end close processes for NY and TX entities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and SEC filings
- Lead internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives
- Analyze variance reports and drive process improvements
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
- Mentor junior accountants across remote teams
- Implement new accounting systems and automation tools
Qualifications
- CPA license required (NY/TX preferred)
- 5+ years public/private accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Advanced Excel/QuickBooks/SAP proficiency
- SEC reporting experience essential
- Remote work history in finance role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Master's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
