Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage client accounting systems implementation and process optimization
- Lead tax preparation and planning for corporate clients
- Mentor junior accountants and provide technical accounting guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with Big 4 or mid-sized firm background
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA knowledge
- Expertise in GAAP, tax compliance, and audit procedures
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder communication
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing priorities
