Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly and annual financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, perform complex reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, and conduct variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze detailed financial statements for board meetings, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
- Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, US tax regulations, and internal control policies.
- Lead external and internal audit preparations, including document collection and responses.
- Streamline accounting workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA/CMA certification preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a strong preference for remote or hybrid work experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial teams.
