Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage month-end closes and complex reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and financial reporting
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders
