Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee AP/AR processes with 99.8% accuracy rate and implement process improvements
- Lead SOX compliance initiatives and internal audit coordination
- Develop cash flow forecasts and variance analysis for executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior accountants using our proprietary financial software suite
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial planning initiatives
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations for public reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA macros)
- Proven track record in leading SOX compliance projects
- Experience with multi-currency international transactions
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (error rate <0.1%)
- Remote work experience with documented productivity metrics
- Ability to work EST hours with occasional weekend reporting
