Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations and reconciliations
- Collaborate with auditors during external financial reviews
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and processes
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong understanding of California tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-state accounting operations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
