Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger reconciliations and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and tax requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 a plus)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience managing financial operations for multi-state entities
