Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes
- Lead financial audits and implement internal controls to mitigate risks
- Develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, tax planning, and compliance initiatives
- Streamline accounting workflows using ERP systems and automation tools
- Mentor junior staff and provide financial guidance to non-finance stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance requirements
- Proven track record of improving financial reporting processes and accuracy
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills with ability to present financial information to diverse audiences
- Experience with remote team collaboration and virtual financial management systems
