About the Role
In this key position, you will oversee critical financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic insights to leadership. You will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting process while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local accounting regulations and GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and support external audit requirements.
- Collaborate with management to develop and monitor annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Streamline internal financial processes and improve reporting accuracy using ERP systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial auditing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
