Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounts using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare month-end closing reports including balance sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow analysis
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 3-way matching protocols
- Oversee payroll processing for 50+ employees with tax compliance oversight
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial data security
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax preparation
- Analyze financial trends to provide actionable insights for leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and MS Excel
- Proven experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Familiarity with Michigan tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with error spotting capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with financial reporting experience
