Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead reconciliation processes for bank accounts, accounts receivable/payable
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and tax preparations
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on complex transactions
- Monitor budget variances and provide insightful financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Remote work experience in accounting/finance role
