Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to drive strategic financial planning
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal control requirements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and system implementations
- Prepare and present financial statements for executive stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Conduct internal audits and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience with ERP system implementations and process optimization
