Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and tax filings
- Implement and optimize internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decisions
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Remote work experience and excellent communication skills
